Burning bush can be grown as a single, accent shrub, as a small tree, or as a hedge. Greenish flowers emerge in spring, are not showy and can be easily missed. It is grown primarily for its flaming fall colors. Understand that burning bush is an invasive shrub; learn to prune it to control its spread.
