Prune Like a Pro: Russian Sage

Featuring: Marsha Lehman

When: available now
Where: online video

Russian Sage (Salvia yangii) can be used as a substitute for lavender. It grows 3-4’ tall, and tends to flop a little. The abundant, spiky clusters of flowers bloom from late spring until autumn. The tips are not winter hardy, so an annual dormant pruning is necessary.
