Smokebush has many cultivars, and can be grown as a large shrub or small multi-stemmed tree. Its small, yellow flowers are inconspicuous. The ornamental effect is derived from the pedicels -- wispy formations that look like a cloud of smoke. Panicles are 6” – 8” long.
