Spotted Lanternfly: The Pennsylvania Experinece
sponsored by TN Urban Forestry Council

Featuring Emelie Swackhamer, Horticulture Extension Educator
Thursday, February 15, 2023, noon EST (11am CST)

Join us this Thursday to learn about how you can help stop the spread of the Spotted Lanternfly (SLF).

Emelie Swackhamer from Penn State Extension will share the experience of containing SLF since the pest was first detected in Pennsylvania 10 years ago.  SLF has since spread to 17 states, including its first detection last year in Tennessee, and poses a threat to many fruit crops and trees.

This webinar is hosted in partnership with the University of Tennessee School of Natural Resources and has been approved to offer 1-CEU (ISA Certified Arborist).

The event is free for general attendees.  A $10 fee has been introduced for earning CEUs.

Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
