Tennessee Smart Yards is an UT Extension-led program that guides Tennesseans on practices they can apply in their outdoor spaces to create healthier, more ecologically-sound landscapes and communities. Join Knox County Masters Gardeners Sarah DeWitt and Mona Yethiraj for an event at the garden learning all about how to modify what you do to get your home landscape (and neighborhood, too!) certified as a TN Smart Yard. You don’t have to be an expert gardener, just a willingness to think about how things work!
At this talk, you will also learn about the new Ijams Weed Warriors Native Landscape Certification Program that also falls under the Smart Yards program.
